Faculty of Life Safety
The creation of the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has led to the establishment of several faculties and departments within the Academy, including among them the "Faculty of Life Safety ".
Life safety is a field based on scientific knowledge that encompasses theoretical and practical rules for protecting people from dangerous and harmful factors in all areas of their activities, aiming to maintain their safety and health in the living environment.
Education at the Faculty
Specialist training is conducted at the bachelor's level in 1 specialty. Those who successfully pass the exams organized by the State Examination Center are admitted to those specialties. Those who study at the faculty are educated at the expense of the state in accordance with the legislation. Teaching at the faculty is conducted in Azerbaijani languages and on a face-to-face basis. In the faculty, the teaching process is organized by 6 departments for the preparation of highly qualified personnel.
In accordance with the rules, cadets who study according to the results of the semester are given scholarships based on the exam results.

Career opportunities
Graduates of the faculty receive the rank of lieutenant upon graduation and are employed in respective positions in Civil Defence Troops, Special Risky Rescue Service, Regional Centers, and Crisis Management Center within the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
