Electronic Library

As one of the structural divisions of the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Electronic library, which includes modern innovations, operates. Our readers have access to the state and individual university libraries of our republic, as well as to many profile e-book databases of the world.

The main directions of the activity of the Electronic Library

The main directions of the activity of the electronic library are to create information resources by forming funds of books and other types of documents, to protect them, to apply traditional system of electronic catalog and bibliographic resources, which includes those funds, to make them available to the readers . The library provides service to the teaching and personal staff, cadets, masters and part-time students of the Academy. The use of electronic cataloging software is provided in the subscription section of the electronic library.

The library is equipped with electronic equipment corresponding modern standards. One of them is an electronic information device, through which the reader can get an access to the electronic catalog of the library and take information about the books in the library fund, check the current existance and quantity of the literature in the database. It also performs a self-registration function which allows reader to register the book in his name without approaching the librarian.
