Department of Natural and fundamental subjects

In relation with the establishment of the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a number of faculties and chairs were formed at the Academy, including “Departmant of Natural and fundamental subjects”.

The main goal of the establishment of the chair is to bring the content and quality functions of educational and research works in several related disciplines to the level that meets modern requirements in order to implement the basic training of specialists capable of working in various fields of emergency situations and at the same time to organize the retraining of employees and improving their qualifications.
The teaching staff at this chair consists of professors, associate professors, senior teachers, teachers, doctoral students, laboratory assistants, and operators and they are engaged in training and education of personnel, successfully use their knowledge and skills to achieve the goals of the chair.

Scientific activity has always been one of the priority areas of the chair. The chair is working in the direction of measuring the fire safety of materials, the safety of engineering systems, and the analysis of chemicals.
In order to carry out the teaching of physics, chemistry, electrical engineering and materials science at a high level, laboratory cabins that meet modern requirements have been formed at the chair, and the teaching of laboratory work is visually implemented.
