Department of Life Safety Specialty Subjects

The Department of Life Safety Specialty Subjects was established according to the order No.150 dated November 28, 2012 of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, based on the foundation of “Fire, Special Training, and Department of Specialty Subjects” of the Academy.

The teaching staff appointed to the department for the enhancement of teaching potential is formed from the young graduates of the Academy, and its composition is determined accordingly: senior teachers of the Department, captain R.S.Mammadli, senior lieutenant M.A.Gurbanova, senior lieutenant A.N.Suleymanova-Rahmanli, teacher of the Department, captain N.E.Ismayilov


The main activity fields of the Department of Life Safety Specialty Subjects

The Department of Life Safety Specialty Subjects plays a special role in the formation as a specialist of cadets and trainees studying at the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations at the bachelor’s level 050614 – “Life Safety Engineering” specialty, and graduate students studying at the master's level 060614 – “Management of Emergency Situations” and “Safety of Technological Processes” specialty.

The Department of Life Safety Specialty Subjects is the main structural unit of the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations based on the specialty subjects taught in “Life Safety Engineering”.
The subjects taught in the department such as “Tactics of Accident-Rescue Operations”, “Organization of Management in Emergency Situations”, “Dangerous factors of Emergency Sutuations”, and other subjects are included in the priority subjects list of the Department of Life Safety Specialty Subjects.
In addition, a total of 10 bachelor’s level (including correspondence education) subjects and 12 subjects at the master's level are taught in the field of “Life Safety Engineering” specialty.
