Faculty of Fire safety
Faculty of Fire Safety was created along with establishment of Academy of the Ministry of Emergency situations.
Fire safety, as a field based on scientific knowledge, covers the theoretical and practical rules of protecting people from dangerous and harmful factors in all areas of their activities, and aims safety and health protection in their habitat.
Education at the faculty
Specialist training is conducted at the bachelor's level in 1 specialty. Those who successfully pass the exams organized by the State Examination Center are admitted to those specialties. Those who study at the faculty are educated at the expense of the state in accordance with the legislation. Teaching at the faculty is conducted in Azerbaijani languages and on a face-to-face basis. 200 cadets study at the faculty. In the faculty, the teaching process is organized by 6 departments for the preparation of highly qualified personnel. In accordance with the rules, cadets who study according to the results of the semester are given scholarships based on the exam results.

Career opportunities
Specialists who graduated from the faculty are employed in the State Fire Protection Service and the State Fire Control Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations with the special rank of first internal service lieutenant.
